Lisa recently opened up about losing so much weight in such a short period.

She went from a size 28 to a size 12 in only 18 months but was still struggling with the side effects of losing such a large amount of weight.

Lisa opened up in her documentary called Lisa Riley’s Baggy Body Club and talked about how she felt even after losing so much weight.

She said that having loose skin as a result of the rapid weight loss made her feel like a “saggy mess”.

Riley said she did not expect to look like that and was even more upset than she was when she was obese.

Lisa said that there was a pain as well. “The skin was flapping about and dragging,” she says in the documentary.

The Emmerdale star felt like her only choice was getting the loose skin surgically removed. 

She said that the surgery allowed her to keep working out and keep the weight off. 

Lisa Riley Family And Personal Life

Lisa Riley has kept her personal life pretty private and has not revealed her parent’s information.

However, after losing her mother in 2012, she has talked about how deeply it affected her. She says she lost her world when she lost her mother. 

Riley is engaged to partner Al. They have been together for six years.

She went through an IVF process in 2018 but doctors told her that she cannot get pregnant.

“Since being back at Emmerdale, I have heard so many positive stories about people who tried IVF and it didn’t work, but fell pregnant naturally… I will let nature take its course and, if I did fall pregnant, I would be thrilled. But I am not going to dwell on it, no one is going to give me bad news again.” She said in an interview.

Lisa has said that while this was heartbreaking to hear, they are not going to let it affect their relationship.
