The 30-year-old wildlife photographer had aspirations of becoming an astronaut as a young person because of the opportunity to explore “the unknown and the bizarre.” Lui attended the Texas McCombs School of Business and was a member of the Delta Sigma Pi Professional Fraternity. His next stop was The Cockrell School of Engineering at The University of Texas, where he was a part of the Engineering Honors Program and the Longhorn Rocket Association.
The Love is Blind cast member obsessively associated success with wealth and status during his university years, which led him to add a second major to his course of study. At the age of 22, he was hired as a management consultant due to his additional business degree. Despite his jet-setting lifestyle, there was a deeper issue.
While living in New York, Andrew developed a passion for photography and actively sought out other travelers who shared his interests. He took a five-year hiatus, according to his website bio, to determine what was wrong with his work. It continued, saying:
I visited South Africa where I crossed paths with Samuel Cox, who showed me the wonders of the natural world and gave me instruction in wildlife photography.
The photographer decided to devote her entire attention to shooting during COVID-19 and began traveling after the travel ban was abolished.
He began working as a photography instructor for a.curious.ape in 2020, where he was able to raise about $18,000 to help protect African national parks. The Greatest Maasai Mara Photographer of the Year 2021, 2022, Africa Geographic Photographer of the Year 2021, The Chromatic Awards 2020, and many more have recognized Andrew for his photography work.
His Love is Blind profile states that dating someone who relies on others to handle their problems is his biggest pet peeve. It continued by saying that persistence is the key to his success and that he wants to start a relationship like his friends Rey and Crystal.
