Born on 13 April 1956 in Mahendragarh, Haryana, Satish Kaushik was an Indian citizen who graduated from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University.

Further, Kaushik was an alumnus of the National School of Drama and Film and Television Institute of India. Satish birth name was Satish Chandra Kaushik.

Unfortunately, little is known about his parents and family details, and we can say that he was of Asian ethnical background. 

The famous actor was a married man who married his wife, Shashi Kaushik, in 1985. The love bird became the parents to their son in 1994. unfortunately, their son died at the age of two in 1996.
