Silvio Berlusconi died on 12 June 2023 at 86. The late politician spent 45 days being treated for a lung infection and chronic leukemia at the hospital. 

After the death of Silvio, people began asking questions about his funeral and memorial services. The Italian government announced the state funeral and proclaimed a national day of mourning for June 14 in Milan, Italy. 

Likewise, family and close ones paid their respect at a private wake in Silvio’s Villa ahead of a Wednesday state funeral at Milan’s Cathedral, likely to attract many people.
