Matthew Shields Sarah Jane Hyland, an American actress, and singer, is best known for her role as Haley Dunphy on the hit ABC sitcom Modern Family. Haley Dunphy is the eldest child of Claire and Phil Dunphy.
Former American actor Matt Prokop has been in films including High School Musical 3 and Furry Vengeance, and his latest film, Geek Charming. Since 2013, he has not appeared in any movies.
From 2010 through 2014, Sarah Hyland dated Matt Prokop. It became out that Matt had been verbally and physically abusive to Sarah the whole time they were together.

During an argument, Sarah claims Matt choked her so tightly she “could not speak or breathe” while calling her foul names.
Matt continued to send her hateful, threatening, and extremely distressing messages, including suicide threats, even after they had broken up.
The actress thankfully got a restraining order against Matt for domestic violence, banning him from having any contact with her.
She was granted a temporary restraining order in August 2014, which was made permanent in October of the same year.

In 2017, Sarah and Wells Adams started dating. The couple got engaged in July 2019 after dating for two years.
They had scheduled their wedding for August 2020, but owing to the COVID-19 epidemic, they had to postpone it several times.
