Mike was born on April 30, 1977, in Texas, United States. Raised in McKinney, Texas, Mike enjoyed tinkering with automobiles from an early age. Fast N’ Loud is a reality television series that premiered on Discovery Channel in 2012. The show followed the daily operations of Gas Monkey Garage, a custom car shop in Dallas, Texas, and its owner Richard Rawlings and his team as they search for and purchase tired and run-down cars, and then restore them to their former glory. Mike joined the show in 2014 as the Gas Monkey Paint Specialist. The series also featured the team’s efforts to sell the completed vehicles and the challenges they face along the way. The show is known for its high-energy and fast-paced nature, with a focus on the restoration process and the personalities of the team members. After a run of sixteen seasons, the series ended in 2020.

Life after:

After Fast N’ Loud ended in 2020, Mike Coy continued working for Gas Monkey Garage and also started his own business in El Paso, Texas. He often posts photos and videos of his projects on his Instagram account, where he has over 221K followers. He also hinted at a possible return to TV in July 2022, when he shared a post with some TV cameras and the caption “new beginnings.”

Wife & Kids:

He was married to his longtime girlfriend, Shanna Hobbs. The pair are proud parents to two children, their eldest Madison Coy, and the youngest Chase Coy. Besides a little information, nothing is known about Mike’s marriage to Shanna or the fact of how long the two remained together. The marriage ended in a divorce.

As of 2023, Mike is in a relationship with Costanza Pri who is from Rimini, Italy. For now, the relationship looks serious and Costanza might be the one Mike has been holding on to since the divorce from his first wife.  They often share photos and videos of their happy moments on social media.

Struggle with weight:

For the longest time, Mike struggled with the weight problem. After not seeing any positive results from various regimens, Mike began working with Don Lemmon. Don whipped Mike into shape through a series of exercises and diet control. Proud of his achievement, Mike entered a competition for weight loss and managed to climb to the second position.
