Iravati Harshe is an Indian film and television actress, and a dubbing artist as well. She has acted in various movies and television serials and also marked her identity as a Bharatanatyam trained dancer. She is a veteran actress who is mainly known for her amazing performances and good looks that is enough to win the hearts of many. While her fans noted her for her wonderful acting and dance skills. She worked in the Bollywood movies and has worked alongside superstars Shahrukh khan and Kamal Hassan.

Career

The veteran actress started her career working on a television and appeared in various television serials. Iravati Harshe reached the heights of Bollywood movies and worked alongside Bollywood superstars like; Shahrukh Khan and Kamal Hassan. During the 1990s, at the beginning of her career, she appeared in the most popular television serial named “Shanti” which was aired on the Doordarshan TV channel in 1994. While in the serial, she worked alongside Mandira Bedi.

Some of her other popular serials in which she played lead or supporting role, such as; “Split Wide Open”, “Dil Mil Gaye”, “Sanjivani- A Medical Boon”, “Kabhi Kabhi” and others are worth sharing. However, in the drama serial “Sanjivani”, she played a supporting role as Dr. Smriti for which she got huge acclaim and praise as she was liked by everyone in this character. She looked so pretty while playing the role of a doctor. While it was aired from 2002-2005.

However, she has worked in many serials and movies including “Tanha” (1999), “Shanti”, (1994), “Mirtiyudhand”, “Surabhi”, “Chota Munh Or Badi Bat” and others are worth watching. While some of her movies are “We are family”, “Hey Ram” released in 2000, “Kuch Meetha Ho Jaye”, released in 2005, “Shararat”, released in 2002 and the list goes on.

Iravati Harshe is an extremely talented star who is blessed with multiple skills as she has worked as not just an actress but ac dubbing artist and dancer as well. She is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer. Moreover, she is fluent in multiple languages as she speaks English, French, Hindi, Marathi, and many more languages. For this, she got an opportunity to work as a dubbing artist for the role of Madhuri Dixit in French “Dil to Pagal Hai”.

Among various achievements, she won the Best Actress Kaasav Zee Chitra Gaurav Awards in 2017. Also, she earned a nomination for a Best Actress in a lead role for “Ankahee” at first Indian Telly Awards.
