David Costabile and his wife, Eliza Baldi, have been married for over a decade. The two had been working in show business for a long time before they got together.

They were on solo runs, unchallenged. However, only when they met and started a relationship that Costabile met his match, both romantically and professionally.

It is not clear when Costabile and Baldi first came across each other, but they had already started thinking about getting married by the end of the 2000s.

They got engaged on Friday, July 22, 2011. As for how it happened, the only thing they mention on their wedding registry website is that they were in San Francisco.

The wedding came just short of a year later.

On June 16, 2012, the couple said their vows in front of their family and friends at Kings Oaks Farm in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, according to their registry. However, it is worth noting that IMDb mentions their wedding date as June 25, 2012.

The inspiration for their wedding theme came from the "final scene in Felini's Amacord." The celebration ended with a family-styled outdoor Italian dinner in a field.

Costabile and Baldi decided on having kids fairly quickly. Their first daughter, Lucy Rae Costabile, was born in July 2015.

Then, in March 2017, they welcomed their second daughter, Julia Grace Costabile.

After having Julia, the family-of-four went on a vacation to Ireland. On an Instagram post on August 10, 2018, Baldi joked about how she had to take her daughter's favorite doll to the bar when she wanted a drink.

"Vacationing in Ireland with a 1 year old just means bring dolly to the pub," she wrote alongside a picture of a dressed-in-pink doll placed right in front of a big glass of Guinness and some peanuts.

There have been no recent posts from either of the parents about their children. The family lives near Brooklyn, New York.

David Costabile Met His Industry Match

Despite not being a household name in Hollywood, Costabile is a veteran of the entertainment industry. He has done it all — movies, TV shows, and theater. An MFA graduate from New York University, The Good Wife actor even taught acting when the going got rough for him in the early days.

But, if he is a master of his craft, his wife is probably better than him. She, also an MFA holder from New York University, is certainly more accomplished than him in some ways, at least on paper.

If Costabile has done it all in terms of acting, Baldi has done it all in a wider sense — she has experience with both theater and on-camera acting, stage directing, and teaching acting, directing, and text analysis at reputed colleges, including the one she graduated from.

Her resume for teaching and directing outshines his by a mile, and her experience in the theater probably does the same, too.

She has helped him out with some wisdom over the years. Recalling one of those, Costabile said Baldi reminded him to always be ready to grab his luck if it presents itself to him.
