Many Nigerians and celebrities have been raving about the "body odour pandemic", and Uriel Oputa has dropped her two cents on the matter.

The former BBNaija contestant noted that women were going around with enhanced bodies, yet smelling offensive.

Sharing her opinion on her Instagram story, the fitness enthusiast shamed ladies with acquired bodies focusing more on looking outwardly attractive.

In her remark, she stated that if they could afford to pay for plastic surgeries, they should be able to afford good deodorants.

Uriel, who mended fences with a colleague, Whitemoney, mentioned a beautiful lady she had met who had the most repulsive odour.

She wondered how such a good-looking lady would smell so badly. However, she advised that ladies should pay more attention to and detoxify their bodies.

The reality TV star concluded by saying that someone with body odour should not be claiming to be a baddie.

Body odor is not gender based - Blvcklanreo

Legit.ng spoke exclusively with Blvcklanreo, a multitalented social media creative, and he noted that body odor has nothing to do with ones gender.

"In my own opinion, Body odor isn’t even a gender based thing because I don’t think you need a BBL to smell… it’s just about your personal hygiene as a person, he said."

He also gave his thoughts on whether people intentionally go around without using deodorants or not.

"Honestly, I do not think it’s intentional because Nivea body spray now costs 5,500…Na person wey don eat go remember to buy body spray in this economy but at the end of the day, it all balls down to you as a person."

"As humans, personal hygiene is very important. Let’s even forget the next person, there’s this self confidence that comes with smelling good. Trust me, you don’t want everyone to be uncomfortable immediately you step into the room."

Vee reveals she won't be hugging anyone

Meanwhile, former Big Brother Naija contestant Vee revealed why she will not be hugging anyone from now on.

In a previous report by Legit.ng, she revealed that she would keep to herself till the prices of deodorants become more affordable.

She shared that people failed to buy them when they were cheap and definitely would not purchase them now that they were more expensive.
