Bart Brentjens is a well-known Dutch racing cyclist in mountain biking. The mountain biker won the first mountain bike gold medal for men at the 1996 Olympic Games with a long solo effort in the cross-country event. 

Likewise, Brentjens won the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup in 1994 and the cross-country world title in 1995. Similarly, Brentjens has won two silvers and three bronzes at the World Championships.

Active in the scene for a long time, Bart has been a part of many championships and has also won many of them. He has also been serving as the Product Manager at American Eagle Mountainbikes since November 2016.
