Casey was characterized as being vivacious and fun-loving when working as a “shot girl” at a nightclub before her kid went missing. But when Caylee passed away, Casey became more serious and gloomy. Some people assumed Anthony had received cosmetic surgery due to her altered look. However, her new appearance was likely brought on by a substance or procedure that changed the structure of her face and gave her a different appearance.

Caylee Anthony, the daughter of Casey Anthony, vanished in June 2008, but it took a month for authorities to find her. Casey partied throughout that time and told lies to her loved ones about where Caylee was.
When police finally started looking into the matter, Casey told them several lies, including that Caylee had been abducted by a nanny who didn’t exist. Caylee’s skeletal remains were discovered in a forested area close to Casey’s house in December 2008.

However, Casey was charged with first-degree murder because of the circumstances surrounding Caylee’s abduction and the fact that she had lied about them. In May 2011, Casey’s trial got underway, and the prosecution claimed that Casey had taped Caylee to death.
In response, the defense claimed that Casey’s father had assisted her in covering up Caylee’s accidental drowning in the family’s pool. Casey was cleared of the murder accusation after a well-reported trial, but she was convicted guilty of lesser counts of lying to law police.
Casey received a four-year jail term, but she was released in July 2011 after serving her time and maintaining good conduct.
